Supports the HR department by performing general administrative duties.
· Performs payroll administration for hourly and salary personnel.
· Tracks vacation and absentee hours.
· Processes scheduled increases and other personnel actions as required.
· Supports HR Representative in conducting new hire orientation for all personnel.
· Coordinates recruiting activities for salaried and hourly personnel, including
scheduling interviews, pre-employment test, drug screens, hearing, and vision tests.
Assists in maintaining Human Resource Information Systems (Oracle) records and compiles reports from database.
· Assists with benefits administration including new enrollment, terminations and other changes.
· Responsible for maintaining appropriate records of education, managing the training records, including matrix to ensure compliance with requirements.
· Maintain electronic document tracking systems that include training records and disciplinary actions.
· Orders lunches and plans meals for designated meetings and events.
· Controls the front desk area – flow of contractors and other visitors in and out of the building.
