Position Purpose:
The Applications System Administrator will be the technical point person for enterprise business systems and applications as well as assisting with system maintenance and support.

The Applications System Administrator will be the technical point person for enterprise business systems and applications as well as assisting with system maintenance and support.
Essential Functions:
- Provides support for application interfaces and middleware, document transformations, and QAD browses.
- Monitor QAD batch jobs and processes for any application errors.
- Configure and maintain the use of QAD compatible printers and scanners.
- Administer QAD user and/or group access; train new users on applicable access levels.
- Support internal and external application audits by providing necessary information.
- Coordinate with various locations to schedule outages.
- Coordinate various system upgrades/updates, biannual QAD backup verifications & access reviews, and annual QAD disaster recovery tests.
- Maintain all corresponding application documentation and system logs.
- Perform maintenance on systems following company and industry standards.
- Anticipate access and connectivity problems and implement preventive measures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business or computer-related field required.
- Minimum of five years’ experience with systems administration and support required.
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience with Linux shell scripts, Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2 or above, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Active Directory management, Microsoft PowerShell, and Microsoft 365 a preferred.
- Experience with label management applications (i.e., Loftware), secure file transfer applications (i.e., GoAnywhere MFT), file sharing (i.e., Samba, Linux, Windows), open database connections, structured query language, and business intelligence reporting (i.e., PowerBI) preferred.
- Experience with ERP user access administration preferred; experience in QAD a bonus.
- Experience with Bottomline or other document transformation applications a bonus.
- Experience providing user support in both group settings and individually.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Must exhibit the highest professionalism, self-initiative, enthusiasm, and work ethic.
- Knowledge of federal copyright laws as they pertain to the use of computer software.
- Ability to travel to division and plant sites as required; ability to work flexible schedules as needed.
