Job Description: Raw Materials/Forklift Operator
Location: Sealy, TX, 77474
We are seeking a skilled Raw Materials/Forklift Operator to join our team in Sealy, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Operating a forklift to move raw materials to and from storage areas and production lines
- Inspecting and verifying incoming raw materials against purchase orders and quality specifications
- Preparing raw materials for production by measuring, cutting, and staging materials as needed
- Recording and reporting inventory levels and material usage
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Performing routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment as needed
- Adhering to all safety and quality standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Prior experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and quality specifications
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
