Electronic Bench Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bench Technician with hands-on experience in component-level repair of industrial electronic equipment. This role involves evaluating, repairing, and testing a wide range of devices, including servo drives, PLCs, industrial power supplies, and more. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in electronics repair, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate industrial electronic units to identify repair needs down to the component level.
• Order and track necessary parts and components for repairs.
• Perform repairs and fully test units under load to ensure functionality.
• Document evaluations, repairs, and test results with detailed notes.
• Collaborate with the team on complex or large-scale repairs.
• Maintain organized records of outstanding evaluations, repairs, and parts.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in electronics (industrial, engineering, or related field).
• Proficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Experience with tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
• Knowledge of components such as capacitors, diodes, resistors, IGBTs, and more.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
