YOUR ROLE- Partner with the Dollar General sales team and internal category team to identify category growth opportunities through assortment and aisle flow/adjacencies – across Laundry and Beauty categories.
- Provide category centric, actionable reporting, adhoc analytics and insights support for the Dollar General sales team, occasionally conducting custom research to drive a deeper understanding of Guest behaviors.
- Create best-in-class reporting by leveraging multiple tools (1010, Circana/IRI/Nielsen, Numerator, etc.).
- Proactively anticipate customer and team needs, thereby driving actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- Synthesize insights and recommendations into clear and impactful stories.
- Provide category onboarding to new team members in assigned categories.
- Elevate Dollar General category insights to the rest of the organization.
