What you´ll do
Manages relationship to local key stakeholder, collaborates on initialization of saving projects or further benefits
Specifies regional / local demand, creates spend transparency by analyzing purchasing data, defines specific metrics as basis for negotiation
Screens the markets and identifies potentially new suppliers, prepares and conducts efficient and compliant (e)-sourcing activities
Develops supplier decision memo for local business, awards and implements suppliers, establishes contracts in cooperation with
LegalTracks and benchmarks sourcing decision, consults category for the sourcing strategy development
Guides the local business colleagues on compliance and sustainability in sourcing
Steers regional and global project roll-outs and change management on local level
Escalates path for process service level and quality of e2e Source to Pay (StP) operations, ensures governance and compliance for StP related activities
Manages local / regional supplier base and identifies potential supplier rationalization
Steers the enablement of digital suppliers and content for the buying channels to cover local demand efficiently
Guides local business on buying channels / order process for Indirect Material and Services (IMS)
Executes and tracks defined StP transactions in case of legal local or market requirements

Skills and Qualifications for a Purchasing Expert :
Educational Background :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) are a plus.
Experience :
Minimum 4 years proven experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
Experience in project management within a sourcing environment.
Familiarity with global sourcing and supplier management.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
Understanding of e-procurement and e-sourcing tools.
Analytical Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
Experience with cost analysis and budgeting.

The salary for this role is $75000.00 - $95000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
