What You´ll Do
- Steer Health, Safety and Environment at all Henkel North America office/R&D sites.
- Oversee the execution of strategic projects related to Health, Safety and Environment at the correspondent sites.
- Consults in the event of and designs response processes to potentially high impact events at office sites: Emergency Management & Incident Management.
- Oversees and controls the implementation of the standards, policies and guidelines related to the topics within the scope of HSE and ensure compliance with local regulations and Henkel correspondent Standards at all North America Office sites.
- Identify areas of improvements and initiate projects to strengthen these topics at the sites.
- Develops and maintains strategic, sustainable and effective working relationships with the stakeholders at the North America office site locations. This includes external (authorities, regulators, suppliers, professional associations) and internal stakeholders up to the local business functions.
- Leads project teams in HSE topics with programs and initiatives to support daily operational needs in the office location.
- Support local projects within allocated budgets to provide and maintain a safe and compliant workplace and enable and strengthen Henkel business operations and resilience at the site.
- College degree (master preferred) in Safety Health Environmental, Engineering, Science field, Operations Management and Min of 15 years of work-related experience, preferably overlooking a footprint of sites.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and working in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Relevant certifications like Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) preferred.
- Travel Obligations: 30-40% must be near commercial airport
