The global Travel Team is responsible for managing the group’s travel procurement and operational activities for 75,000 employees across 30 countries.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Travel Manager to join the global team who will lead the planning and execution of the Omnicom Travel Program in North America. To be successful you should have an excellent knowledge of travel management processes, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and project management skills with a high attention to detail.
The Role:
· Work with the VP, Global Corporate Travel to ensure the global strategy is aligned to regional needs and is successfully implemented in NORAM
· Lead the delivery of the Omnicom Travel Program in NORAM
· Identify opportunities for program improvement through data analysis, peer collaboration, and industry expertise
· Achieve high compliance to the Omnicom Travel Program, working in coordination with Omnicom’s designated Travel Management Company
· Negotiate contracts with travel partners, ensuring compliance with Omnicom Group policies
· Responsibility for supplier management across travel sub-categories to ensure effectiveness for all Omnicom Group companies inclusive of spend analysis, savings tracking, and risk management
· Ownership of the BTA travel payment program
· Analyze complex data to identify trends and make recommendations
· Close collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive overall program success
· Detail orientated with a drive for optimizing processes and cost efficiency.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
· 5 years professional experience in the corporate travel industry, preferably with experience managing regional programs
· Excellent communication and relationship skills, with the ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external parties
· Clear, concise, and empathetic verbal and written communication skills
· Strong technical skills and interest in emerging technologies. Strong analytical skills; expertise in Excel
· Excellent organizational skills, experience of managing, and prioritizing, multiple projects, and deadlines
· Resilient, an ability to remain focused on strategic goals through day-to-day activities
· Self-motivated, authentic, accountable, and values driven.
