YOUR ROLE
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Content Director, the Brand Content Manager will be responsible for developing a cohesive strategy for content across our brands, as well an execution plan. The responsibility is to align all the relevant teams, (e.g. graphics, brand, creative and agencies) to the type of content that is most relevant by channel and for our key end-users. Brand managers will be establishing the brand voice but working with this Brand Content Manager on how to properly engage the content team (internally or externally) to ensure it resonates and is properly executed in each communication piece.
This leader will be a self-motivator, have entrepreneurial spirit, be creative and have a strong sense of ownership. The Brand Content Manager will need to balance the capabilities to perform his/her functions in an expedient manner with accuracy and a passion to win.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the brand team to establish processes and produce content, ensuring a cohesive experience for customers across all marketing channels that aligns to the brand standards
- Develop, refine and scale a robust content strategy that allows for a team of internal and external contributors to efficiently create helpful, rich content in a timely manner
- Develop the storytelling approach for each content type with support of the brand teams.
- Refine strategy through review of analytics and by engaging in conversations with marketing team and ECOM team.
- Liaise with network of content agencies and internal team to define scalable processes for content creation including cross-team collaboration and proper resourcing and execute content development (proper agency briefing and management)
- Work closely with the global digital team to communicate the needs of the North American business and contribute to the development of the overall Henkel process that improves efficiency and scale
- Engage with the e-commerce team to develop content plans to satisfy both multi-channel and pure player needs.
- Execute on the defined strategy by working closely with the brand teams to create priorities and engage with agencies/internal creative team.
- Define and cross-functionally communicate success metrics for all content initiatives, aligned to company goals. Track performance to ensure content marketing plans deliver expected business outcomes
- Stay attuned to content marketing trends and best practices
- Develop and confidently present on content strategies to customers and internal leadership teams.
- Learn about and participate in the company culture by attending meetings, training and development sessions.
