Description
Hennebery Eddy Architects seeks collaborative and creative project architects who share our values and commitment to serve our community, foster belonging, and contribute to a sustainable future. We currently have hybrid positions open at our office in Bend, OR.
Typical Responsibilities
- Leading the architectural design process from programming and conceptual design through permitting and construction
- Conducting thorough zoning and code reviews and lead project regulatory approvals
- Organizing, preparing, and presenting design concepts and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders
- Leading and collaborating with project team members and consultants
- Actively contribute to mentorship, office culture, initiatives, and learning programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in a professional architecture practice
- Architectural license
- LEED or Living Future accreditation preferred
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead the development of construction documents, including technical details
- Demonstrated experience navigating code and permitting processes
- Advanced design, visual, and graphic presentation skills including hand sketching
- Prior experience through all phases of a project from programming to construction
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable design through prior project work
