Description
Hennepin County's Human Resources (HR) department is seeking two experienced HR professionals to provide consulting services to assist leaders and staff with team effectiveness and provide leadership development, learning and development, assessment, and coaching. These positions will also help facilitate talent management, employee engagement, workplace culture, and organizational change. Ideal candidates should have the knowledge, skills and abilities to build strong professional relationships through a genuine lens of equity and inclusion to deliver high-quality consulting services. These consultants will also represent Hennepin County and the Organization Effectiveness team on a variety of projects, groups, and committees.

Location and hours :
These positions are hybrid and will be performed both on-site at various locations throughout Hennepin County based on job assignment and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, any time between the hours of 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. While these positions are designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin. New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new benefit-earning employees is in-person in downtown Minneapolis. Details about NEO will be provided upon hire.

In these positions, you will :
- Collaborate with County leadership, Human Resources colleagues, and vendors to develop and implement integrated organization effectiveness programs and solutions.
- Design, lead and / or facilitate development and engagement opportunities, based on needs assessments and in alignment with customer and organization strategic priorities.
- Provide consulting services to assist leaders with team effectiveness, leadership development, assessment, talent management, employee engagement, workplace culture, and organizational change.
- Provide guidance and / or coaching (formal and informal) to leaders at all levels throughout the organization.
- Operate and manage programming specified for County leaders and employees (which may involve partnerships with vendors).
- Participate in or lead cross-functional project teams to address workforce issues, enhance the employee experience, and / or continuously improve Human Resources services.
- Identify strategies, methods, tools, and measurement to promote organizational effectiveness, employee and leadership development, team culture, workplace inclusion and disparity reduction.
Need to have :
Seven or more years of professional human resources experience.
Nice to have :
Building relationships and consulting with leaders to assess organizational and customer needs and implementing strategies to strengthen workplace culture, team effectiveness, leadership development, and employee engagement.
