Our work includes a diverse variety of urban mixed-use projects, commercial, retail, multi-family, medical office, golf country clubs and custom residential projects.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Architect with a positive attitude and a collaborative approach to all aspects of our exciting industry, that can combine creativity and technical skills to produce functional buildings and pleasing spaces for our clients. The successful applicant will be able to collaborate with a team of architects and consultants to engage in the process from initial client meetings, conceptual sketching to construction documents and through construction administration to deliver exceptional architectural projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school
3 years of related experience, including demonstrated success with similar projects
Proficient with CAD as well as 3D modeling and color rendering software
Licensure: Registered architects or individuals seeking registration preferred
Competent knowledge of architectural principles, practices and building codes
Flexibility to focus on multiple projects concurrently in various stages of development
Quick learner with an ability to develop well in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to collaborate with team members as well as consultants
Capacity to maintain existing client relationships and build new relationships
What you will be doing day to day:
Take care of multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination, including full document coordination with consultants (civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, interior, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)
Communication with client, project team, consultants, vendors and contractors
Resolve complex technical and design issues with team to produce innovative, technical, constructible solutions
Produce drawings and specification documents that meet design intent with excellent technical quality
Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews
Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFI
Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
Manage the financial performance of projects relative to fees, timelines and deliverables
Review and contribute to proposals and contracts with the firm’s Principals
Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships
