Job Title: Chemical Site Health, Safety, Environmental, and Process Safety (HSE & PS) Manager
Job Description:
Site HSE & Process Safety Manager for petrochemical manufacturing plant.
• Near term: To oversee safety aspects in construction activities such as heavy lifts, hot work, work at height, fire safety, and regulatory compliance. Should have strong track record in maintaining safety standards, managing emergency situations, and enforcing adherence to regulatory requirements on large-scale petrochemical construction projects.
• Long term: To oversee and ensure the health, safety, environmental, and process safety performance of our chemical manufacturing site. The chosen candidate would be responsible for implementing best practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in HSE and process safety management systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent are preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in health, safety, environmental, and process safety management, ideally in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and process safety regulations (e.g., OSHA PSM, EPA Risk Management Program).
Strong understanding of risk assessment methods (HAZOP, FMEA, etc.) and process safety tools.
Working Conditions:
Site-based position with occasional travel required for audits, training, or project support.
Must be available for emergency response and after-hours support as necessary.
