Qualifications and Experience :
1. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry with proven experience of at least 25 years in Fine Chemical and / or Petrochemical Plants with complex operations involving Continuous and Batch processes and unit operations including batch and continuous manufacturing, reaction engineering, distillation, filtration, heating / cooling, crystallization, drying and mixing processes.
2. Demonstrated ability to manage manufacturing costs and site overheads.
3. Extensive experience in the chemical manufacturing sector, including familiarity with the specific challenges, regulatory requirements, and safety concerns associated with chemicals, petrochemicals, or specialty chemicals.
4. Understanding of the chemical supply chain, including raw material procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to optimize production operations.
5. Relevant certifications in safety management, quality control, or manufacturing management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO, or PMP) are highly valued.
6. The ideal candidate will have a track record of achieving production targets, improving processes, and ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
