To support our growing operations, we have an immediate need for a talented and experienced Assistant MEP Superintendent- PLUMBING focused- to join our team for a major public works project in Queens, New York. We are teaming with AECOM / Tishman Construction to deliver this project . It is anticipated that the selected candidate will work directly at the JFK Airport project site.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Assist in overseeing and supervising the performance of MEP construction activities including overseeing and coordinating all aspects of specific trade work; ensuring that trade activities are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to the project contract drawings, specifications and safety standards. All activities related to the specific trade (e.g., pipefitting and plumbing)
- Assist in ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Conducting regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards.
- Assist in coordinating the efforts of subcontractors and suppliers. Assist in coordinating Special Inspections, daily progress inspections, and sign- offs.
- Updating testing logs as needed. Reviewing and advising field conditions and RFI’s. Performing other duties as may be required and as directed.
- Assist in leading and coordinating the MEP trade workforce. Providing guidance and support to lead trade superintendents to enhance performance and productivity.
- Assist in conducting MEP meetings to communicate project status and manpower scheduling.
- Assist in developing and maintaining schedules for trade-specific activities. Coordinate trade work with other trades and general construction activities. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of trade-specific materials and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders, including project managers, and other trade superintendents. Assist in preparing and submitting regular reports on trade-specific progress. Address and resolve any trade-related issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures. Address and mitigate safety hazards promptly.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
