Henry A. Petter Supply Company is currently seeking a INDUSTRIAL INSIDE SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE.
As an employee of Henry A. Petter Supply, this position is located at our Corporate Office, in Paducah, Ky. We have been in business since 1890, we are on our 4th generation family CEO. We service/sell through out many different states in the US. . We are currently looking for enthusiastic and well rounded individual to grow our current established Team. Job Responsibilities:
- You will use your knowledge of Industrial products (including but not limited to, tools, pumps, electrical, janitorial, safety, chemicals, lubricants and construction products) to tell to the businesses and industries.
- Sell products using exceptional telephone and email communication skills with a focus on providing customers with exceptional service.
- Provide existing customers and prospective customers with timely and accurate product quotes; solicit profitable orders; upsell; and ongoing customer service.
- Receive and enter orders from customers.
- Inventory control experience, problem solving and the ability to analyze min/max inventory stock levels.
- Handle customer complaints.
- Grow existing accounts through introducing customers to new product offerings.
- Handle service processes including order processing of standard and special products, quoting, returns, credits, expediting, price deviations, and web shopping application.
- Utilize computer database and Petter website to verify customer information, product information, pricing, and availability.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED; Associate/Bachelor degree preferred.
- Three (3) years sales and customer service experience.
- Previous experience and knowledge in industrial distribution and safety products.
- Previous sales experience with establishing new accounts and with growing existing accounts.
- Computer proficient in using Microsoft products including Excel and Word, as well as the internet and sales computer systems.
