Customer and Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Title : Customer and Supply Chain Coordinator Department : Customer Care Reports To : Supply Chain DirectorSalary Range : $40,000-$80,000 Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end success of assigned customer accounts. This includes managing forecasting, order processing, raw material ordering, production planning, inventory management, and ensuring on-time shipment. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure alignment on production schedules and inventory needs, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities : Coordinate the creation / management of sales contracts for new SKUs and / or changes to existing businessReceive and enter sales orders and / or forecasts as jobs into DeacomMaintain accuracy of planned jobs in Deacom - adjust job quantity, start and due dates as necessary - coordinate and communicate with operations to ensure accurate and timely completion of jobsDetermine raw material requirements for production utilizing Deacom BOM and Tableau toolsPlace purchase orders to customers for raw material requirements for customer-provided raw materials and ensure they are received by our due date, ensuring appropriate lead time is givenCoordinate with purchasing for purchase orders required for production - sourced raw materials; ensure they are received on timeCreate inter-company transfers (if applicable) to ensure materials stored outside of production facility are brought to the manufacturing facility in a timely mannerUtilize Tableau reporting tools to assist in production planning and material requirements planning processes; ensure weekly production and inventory Tableau reports are sent to customers on a weekly basisHost weekly / bi-weekly production and inventory planning meetings with assigned accounts to ensure company and customer are aligned on production and inventory requirementsParticipate in daily production planning meetings with cross-functional teams and highlight / escalate pertinent information to ensure production schedule is attainedReview completed production jobs to ensure the appropriate amount of finished goods were produced and the correct amount of raw materials were consumed - triage any gaps and solve in conjunction with operationsCoordinate the disposal of unneeded raw materials by collaborating with the Quality team and the customerExecute on a two-week frozen production schedule and actively plan 4 weeks out with the customer, taking into consideration optimal run strategy including allergen sequencing and operational resource management (labor & machine)Escalate raw material constraints to operations teams and Supply Chain Director if production plan deemed at riskCommunicate gaps in master data to Quality team in a timely manner to avoid disruptions to raw material receipts and / or productionParticipate in customer visits as necessary - coordinate schedules and agendas and actively participate in site visitsSupport customer-specific physical inventory counts as necessaryOther job duties as assignedRequired Skills and Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, but not required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree3-5 years of experience in account management, production planning, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to manage deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teamsExperience in inventory management and production planningWorking Conditions : Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walkingPrimarily office setting, working on a computer, with visits to the production floor, which may involve exposure to noise, temperature variations, and safety protocolsThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, and efforts of working conditions associated with the job.
