What are the responsibilities and job description for the Addiction Medicine Social Worker MSW position at Henry Ford Health System?

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing high quality psychiatric and/or chemical dependency services as qualified in an ambulatory clinic setting within a region of the business unit. Services most commonly include evaluations along with individual, group, co-joint, family, and didactic therapy. As qualified may also provide crisis intervention services for adult individuals and couples, families, adolescents, and children.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduation from an accredited school of social work with a Master's Degree required.
Two to four (2-4) years post master's experience in Ambulatory Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Clinics preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Current Licensed Master Social Work.
Must have a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) certification thru the Michigan Board of Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) or have a plan on file with the MCBAP that obtaining the certification is in process.
