The Member Services Data Manager is responsible for supporting the Member Services department via the management of data-related tools and assets, as well as the successful execution of departmental strategic objectives. The Member Services Data Manager will work with department team members in fulfilling the Mission of Whitehall relative to its growing Membership base, Museum programming, and private Member Events.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the department's Database, including constituent management, creation and upkeep of all reporting capabilities, and all related ongoing maintenance
Install, configure, maintain, monitor, and improve the database framework
Ensures the safety of stored data by implementing security programs and developing policies and procedures for data security and integrity
Ensures data integrity and availability
Ensures current and projected database performance, and recommends changes and enhancements
Gain a deep understanding of the Museums Mission and use that knowledge to effectively educate Museum stakeholders, including Visitors, Members, and more
Assist in developing and implementing a strategy for growing and sustaining the growth of the Museums Membership program, as well as Museum sponsored events and private Member Events
Oversee the management of certain departmental spreadsheets, ensuring all content is kept updated and accurate
Effectively collaborate across departments, including Curatorial, Visitor Services, Public Affairs, Facilities, and more, to achieve departmental and organizational wide goals
Maintain detailed notes and continuously update the system where necessary
Qualifications
At least 3 to 5 years of experience database management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues
Bachelor's degree in Informational Technology, programming, computer science, or IT-related fields
Positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, flexibility and commitment to collaboration, customer service, strategy and innovation
English fluency
