What you will do
- Lead and inspire a high-performing sales and business development team, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
- Evaluate the performance of business development initiatives and ensure objectives are met and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identify high-value opportunities and lead initiatives to achieve significant revenue growth.
- Oversee the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring exceptional client experiences.
- Create and oversee the execution of sales forecasts and targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Provide detailed reports and strategic insights to senior management, highlighting areas of improvement and success.
- Drive sales initiatives for key accounts, focusing on high-value deals and long-term contracts.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including emerging markets, products, and partnerships.
- Introduce innovative strategies and tools to enhance sales efficiency and business outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, stakeholders, and industry partners to foster collaboration and secure new business.
- Partner with marketing and demand generation teams to create campaigns that resonate with target markets and drive closed won bookings.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of top talent in the business development function.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports on sales achievements, pipeline updates, and growth initiatives to senior leadership.
- Continuously assess and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Work with Business Operations team to improve sales process and reporting

- Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience in sales and / or business development, with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth; 3 or more years of experience leading and managing high performing sales and business development teams.
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms.
- Understands sales management including compensation plans, quotas, and coaching
- Strong management and leadership skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop and mentor team members for high performance

The posted range for this position is $170,000.00 - $190,000.00 OTE . On target earnings includes the annual base pay as well as the anticipated annual variable compensation (commission target), which together represent the expected compensation range for this role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location / labor market, internal equity, etc.
