Position Summary :
The Marketing Specialist is an active, hands-on role responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on live events and activations. This position is not limited to office work – you will be out in the field, actively involved in event management, supporting on-site execution, and analyzing event performance. You will ensure that each event or activation aligns with the company's marketing objectives and brand guidelines. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to :
- Lead event planning and execution : You will be at the forefront of the on-site management of promotional events across Arizona, from large festivals to smaller, intimate brand activations.
- On-the-ground event coordination : Actively participate in executing activations, coordinating logistics, managing teams of volunteers or marketing representatives, and ensuring seamless event operations.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic event plans and align them with the company's marketing goals.
- Event performance analysis : Collect and analyze data from events to track engagement, ROI, and other relevant performance metrics. Share findings with leadership to continuously improve future events.
- Budget management : Oversee and manage event budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximize the success of each event or activation.
- Event promotion and sampling : Develop and manage on / off-premise programming for key events, including product samplings, promotions, and brand activations.
- Relationship building : Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, promoters, and event stakeholders to drive successful partnerships.
- Ensure brand consistency : Ensure all events adhere to brand guidelines and marketing standards.
- Flexibility and adaptability : Be ready to work during evenings and weekends to oversee event activation, especially during peak seasons.
- Provide detailed event reports : After each event, compile a comprehensive event recap with performance metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
