What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Finance Shared Services (Hybrid in Charlotte, NC) position at Hepaco Inc?
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as Director of Finance Shared Services. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll be focused on driving optimization in our Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes. Through effective cross-organization collaboration, you’ll solve business and process problems, enhance customer and vendor relationships, and ensure efficient cash flow management.
This position is a hybrid role requiring in-office work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our corporate office is located at 9335 Harris Corners Parkway, Suite 220, Charlotte, NC 28269.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the corporate billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable teams; ensuring their successful performance.
- Provide subject matter expertise, coach, and guide on AR and AP issues. Provide insight on strategies to resolve challenges and drive performance.
- Work with the leadership team and internal stakeholders to identify and implement best practices to streamline the OTC and PTP processes, minimize impact on working capital and facilitate reinvestment in our growing business.
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly insights that identify risks and opportunities related to our cash position, enabling proactive decision-making.
- Evolve the Delegation of Authority (DoA) framework to effectively align with cash requirements and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Implement and maintain FIS GetPaid system to improve the efficiency and reliability of account coverage.
- Utilize key performance measures to evaluate success and drive continuous improvement.
- Uphold HEPACO values and mission in all activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA, MACC or PMP a plus but not required.
- 10 years relevant working experience.
- Demonstrated success leading through growth and operational transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving `capabilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of financial processes, best practices, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with peers and partners across departments.
