Overview
As the Computer Displays / Battle Force Tactical Trainer / TV-DTS Technician working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will provide Fleet Technical Assistance. You will be expected to interpret shipboard technical documents to assess, repair and document equipment deficiencies.
This is a contingent position based on award / funding from the customer.

This position involves working in both an office environment and a shipboard environment.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for the evaluation and correction of fleet system / equipment casualties and provide technical assistance on mechanical / electrical / electronic Combat Systems casualty repairs IAW the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and fleet requirements
- Provide technical assistance for other systems
- Provide problem analysis, troubleshooting, isolation, correction and checkout testing to provide a clear path for resolution returning the mechanical / electrical / electronic Combat Systems and related equipment to full operational condition
- Perform the following system / equipment troubleshooting and evaluation tasks :
a) Provide distance support (DS) for ships and on-site technical assistance for mechanical / electrical / electronic Combat Systems and related equipment
a) Assessment Program tasks include : the full spectrum of services required to perform system equipment assessment and inspections on all ship classes including : scheduling and coordination; test procedure development and maintenance; ordering, tracking, receipt, and delivery of parts and materials; data entry into maintenance and supply information systems; discrepancy tracking, maintenance, and reporting; analysis; reports; technical and logistics research; and discrepancy resolution
a)Assess and recommend changes to shipboard ILS validations and verifications and review logistics documentation and submit 4790 / CK forms to document configuration changes to include : Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) reviews for proper Allowance Parts List (APL) coverage; identification of material requisitions for items that are required to correct discrepancies; preparation of PMS documentation; development of Allowance Appendage Pages(AAP) for new support items; development of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD); and the maintenance of ship system configuration data
Qualifications
a) Full time, hands-on experience in the accomplishment of Fleet Technical Assistance, Assessment and Logistical Support of U.S. Navy ships' Computer Displays, Battle Force Tactical Trainer and Television-Direct to Sailor Systems
