What you'll do every day:
Performs shipping of sales orders of FG product based on computer reports, including packaging of products, verifying cert data and all paperwork is attached, etc.
Receives incoming raw materials and supplies into the inventory system. Moves items to incoming QA or to appropriate individuals or locations in the company.
Processes shipments through UPS, FedEX and other carrier databases via the systems provided.
Performs cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials, reports results, identify problems, determines causes and helps to implement process improvements.
Processes misc. shipments, including outside processing jobs, scrap returns, DMR shipments, and other shipments as required.
Processes in-house job receipts, including lot numbers and correct labeling of FG items.
Provides accurate paperwork and logs for shipping/receiving activities, including end of day activities, reports and scanning of raw material certificates.
Uses various material handling equipment to move received items.
What we're looking for:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Some shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English. Ability to document accurately and legibly.
Basic computer literacy. Some experience with basic data entry highly desired. Understanding of general warehouse and shipping processes highly desired.
Basic math operations, decimals, metric conversion
At a minimum ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 hour days with ideal shift 8:30-5 but later start negotiable.
