What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maint Tech II position at Heraeus?
Your Role and Responsibilities :
- Performs preventative maintenance on plant facilities and production equipment.
- Provides emergency maintenance for plant facilities and production equipment.
- Works with engineering in installing or modifying equipment.
- Modifies equipment and performs repair projects as necessary to maintain the facility and production operation.
- Assists with scheduling and procedures for preventive maintenance of all plant equipment.
- Coordinates contractor support as required.
- Evaluates and recommends changes to production and facility equipment to improve production process and equipment reliability.
- Documents changes made to equipment, systems, procedures and facilities.
- Provides Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager with information to assist in the preparation of annual maintenance budget.
- It is an essential function of this position that the incumbent work flexible hours as required by management, including, but not limited to, rotating shifts, being on-call, and working weekends when needed.
