The Following Challenges Await You
- Lead and manage project according to project schedule.
- Establish strong ownership of the full project life cycle, driving successful results through leadership from initiation to deployment of the project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to create an aligned overall project plan and schedule for complex projects.
- Manage and direct project activities needed to achieve project objectives, with a strong understanding of project needs, risks, and timing necessary to meet competing project schedules.
- Anticipate, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Effectively communicate complex information with varying levels of collaborators, including customers and stakeholders.
- Complies with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Heraeus Medical Components. Quality System.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or related technical field required
- A minimum of 8 years engineering experience required including previous experience as project manager in the medical device industry
- Strong experience in use of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or others)
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient at solving problems in a timely manner
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% or as needed, mainly between Minnesota, USA and Costa Rica
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Previous experience with ultrasound or complex diagnostic catheter experience preferred
- Proficient verbal and written communication in Spanish desired
