We are seeking a highly skilled full charge bookkeeper with expertise in progress billing, certified payroll (Davis-Bacon / Prevailing Wage), and extensive knowledge of QuickBooks. Experience with construction CO's and PO's a must.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage progress billing processes efficiently and accurately
Ensure compliance with California prevailing wage laws, Davis-Bacon requirements, and certified payroll regulations
Utilize QuickBooks to maintain financial records and generate reports
Collaborate with project teams to track costs and analyze financial data
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
Help maintain reports to field supers, and CEO
Able to help run the office
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
Extensive experience working with QuickBooks and proficiency in Excel and Word.
Strong understanding of California prevailing wage laws and Davis-Bacon Act
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
