Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves various tasks related to garden care, hardscape installation, and general landscape upkeep. The Landscape Technician will play a vital role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting to ensure healthy growth of gardens.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Conduct tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees.
- Assist in hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Operate snow plowing equipment during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting, ensuring optimal conditions for plant growth.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with garden care techniques, including planting, watering, and fertilization practices.
- Ability to handle physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation to job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.15 - $18.09 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:
