Overview
THE ROLE:
This position will be responsible for the end-to-end COVID contact tracing and intake process for all U.S Office based employees, temporary employees, etc. This position is also responsible for ensuring the COVID tracking sheet is monitored for outbreaks and is always updated. This position will be responsible for working with the Safety professionals to identify safety hazards and assist in implementing processes and procedures. Maintain records if accidents, injuries, and near misses to help prevent future accidents. This position will be responsible for assisting with equipment inspections and other duties related to keeping employees safe on the job.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
- Manage the intake process for confirmed COVID cases and close contacts.
- Responsible for contact tracing, tracking cases, and providing status updates.
- Responsible for employee exposure and facility exposure communications.
- Coordinate onsite testing at the work site in an event of an outbreak.
- Report outbreaks to the local County Department of Public Health in collaboration with Legal.
- Coordinate with Tafin, and HR on cases and follow up with employees on their return to work.
- Coordinate with FMLA administrator on time off under CA Supplemental Sick Pay and CAL/OSHA regulations.
- Identify safety hazards and assist implementing procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining all safety related records.
- Ensure Herbalife is compliant with local, state, and federal requirements (e.g., Cal-OHSA; NFPA Fire Requirements; and Ergonomics).
- Support the Safety Programs (e.g., safety training; safety committees; safety inspections).
Qualifications
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Ability to problem solve and carry out responsibilities under general supervision.
- Ability to travel to any local Los Angeles based offices as needed.
- Approachable with excellent interpersonal communications skills and ability to work as team player while maintaining a high degree of customer service and confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritize job tasks in order of changing priority and in a deadline driven, fast paced work environment.
- High degree of integrity and able to handle confidential information.
- Strong initiative and flexible.
- Detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy including data entry.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within the organization.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible and adaptable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word. Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Time management and organizational skills
Experience:
- Five years of work experience in an administrative or coordinator role.
- One to Three years of experience with Safety Reporting; OSHA Logs; Ergonomics.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Education:
- High School Diploma
