Corporate Accountant Fully Remote (East Coast Candidates)

Are you looking for a fully remote opportunity that also provides room for professional growth / advancement Our client is looking for an eager accounting professional with exposure to general accounting / monthend close accounts receivable and billing to support the company as they continue to grow. Our client has a small accounting department so the Corporate Accountant will have the opportunity to work directly beneath an accomplished CFO and gain exposure to special projects as the company grows from $20M to $75M.
Corporate Accountant Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable entries and invoicing maintain open sales orders and invoices for timely payment / processing
- Credit card entries and reconciliation
- Process all customer and vendor invoices and credit memos
- Collect and process payment from customers and vendors and accurately record it into the system
- Prepare and post journal entries and cash receipts into the general ledger
- Daytoday reconciliation and monthend closing.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance accounting functions' efficiency and accuracy.
- Support timely monthly quarterly halfyear and yearend financial close including assigned journal entries balance sheet account reconciliations accruals and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.
- Accounts Payable entries and payments maintain open purchase orders and invoices for timely processing
Corporate Accountant Requirements
Compensation will range to $75000 annual bonus
