- Managing the Purchasing process for a small manufacturing company
- Pull information from Estimates and Quotes to build Req’s in the system to handle the ordering for all raw materials and then manage the open PO’s
- Building efficiencies into the Purchasing process for both work being produced and all internal ordering needs
- Maintaining Service Contracts and annual renewals
- Managing Vendor relationships and advocating for the best pricing
- Creating dashboards and reporting metrics to help upperlevel management have an accurate view of company standings in real time
- Working with Inventory Control to maintain accurate receipts and counts
- Track and monitor WIP reports
- Track and manage items work that are being sent offsite for a final finishing process
- Manipulating Excel Vlookups and Pivot Tables

We are looking for 5 to 7 years of progressive Purchasing experience in a Manufacturing environment this is a musthave skill set. A background working with Infor ERP systems and managing the production schedule is a plus. Must be able to manipulate and provide dashboards and spreadsheets using Excel Pivot Tables and VLookups. Small team management skills are needed.
