Job Description
Herc Rentals is looking for a skilled Equipment Repair Specialist Lead to join our team. As a Mechanic A, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance operations of our rental equipment fleet. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all equipment is in top working condition, safe for use by customers, and meets our quality and efficiency standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining a consistent schedule for preventative maintenance
- Operating and testing equipment to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on all fleet equipment and trucks independently
- Diagnosing internal combustion engines, DC electrical systems, propane systems, hydraulics, and fuel systems
A successful candidate will have 3 years of experience repairing heavy equipment, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
