Job Responsibilities
This is a dynamic role that requires the individual to maintain and repair heavy equipment, develop and implement effective maintenance programs, assign and direct work to Mechanics, and monitor work orders. The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical skills, leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment using various tools and technologies.
- Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance programs.
- Assign and direct work to Mechanics to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor work orders to ensure prompt completion and accuracy.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager/Shop Supervisor to optimize departmental performance.
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex equipment systems.
- Lubrication, oil changes, and other essential services for heavy equipment.
- Replacement and reconditioning of equipment parts.
- Equipment testing and operation.
- Identification of equipment wear and tear areas.
- Maintenance of a safe and organized workspace.
- Production of detailed service reports and repair logs.
- Compliance with company procedures and protocols.
- Cultivation of positive relationships with customers.
- Execution of additional tasks as assigned.
