Job Purpose
The purpose of the Warehouse Person position is to be responsible for the receipt and delivery of lighting and grip equipment, expendables, small tools, equipment, products, and materials at various soundstages, job sites, and branches utilizing a tool trailer for storage. Duties include processing orders, inventory management, and minor / limited repair and maintenance of tools. The candidate will travel to various locations to perform their duties. he / she performs at the highest standard of quality inside and outside of the branch acting as a representative of Cinelease Inc. and HERC. He / she has mastered and consistently follows the operating standards of the branch, the region and corporation
What you will do...
- Follow and comply with all warehouse policies and procedures
- Ensure the accuracy of transactions within our inventory management systems
- Inventory management and control
- Manage the delivery and recovery of all packages through the use of various couriers / carriers as per shipping instructions
- Follow safety practices and maintain consistent housekeeping practices in the warehouse and at off-site locations
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain various issues with the small tools, light equipment, and other rental items
- Complete the required paperwork and record keeping associated with maintenance and repairs
- Manage and maintain the condition of the tool trailer
- Related duties as necessary for the accomplishment of the position
- Perform additional duties as assigned
