Field Territory Sales Representative (Prairie Du Chein and Boscobel area)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Field Territory Sales Representative to join our Industrial Forklift business development team. The Field Territory Sales Representative position is responsible for developing new, used and rental sales strategies to attract and retain clients in a pre-determined assigned territory. This is a fast-paced position that needs an experienced, driven individual with a proven track record for establishing, building and maintaining relationships. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Understands the Companies products as well as competitive products; can specify, recommend and sell material handling equipment.
• Be the main point of contact between the company and several customer accounts for Industrial Forklifts and Allied equipment.
• Maintain a cadence of communicating and/or visiting with customers. 
• Drive growth and retention among our customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed.
• Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads. 
• Understand customer outcomes and communicate account reviews by analyzing customer fleet metrics such as cost per running hour, equipment age, rental usage.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Service Manager & Service Technicians to support customers, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
• Attend meetings, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments. 
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with a CRM product.
• Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
• Track record of maintaining and over-achieving benchmarks and quotas.
• Verifiable analytical skills and experience in making sound business decisions.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Time management and attention to detail.
• Must reside in the assigned territory.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Associates degree or vocational school training preferred
• Material handling and/or transportation and logistics industry experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.
• Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times.
