Job Description:
As an Outside Sales Representative at Hercules Machinery Corporation, you'll collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and our dedicated team to drive profitable sales growth by cultivating new customer relationships and nurturing existing accounts. Your focus will extend beyond our current clientele to tap into new markets and opportunities for expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong customer relationships to effectively promote and sell our comprehensive range of products and services.
- Develop and nurture key client accounts, utilizing negotiation skills to successfully close deals.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Hercules Machinery Corporation's full capabilities and product offerings.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify and pursue potential customers within your assigned geographic area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by managing existing orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Implement a robust follow-up process to track and manage all sales activities effectively.
- Maintain a detailed database of contacts and consistently update relevant information.
- Generate weekly reports outlining key contact metrics and sales performance.
- Collaborate closely with fellow Outside Sales staff to ensure comprehensive coverage of all accounts.
- Proactively follow up on quotations to drive increased conversion rates from quotes to orders.
- Exhibit a strong willingness to learn about our products and services, staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and strong computer literacy
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry
- Self-motivated with a proactive "can-do" attitude
- Demonstrated professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
