Full-time Hourly Position ranging from $17-$20 DOE plus benefits.Located in Taos, NM. Working out of our El Monte Sagrado.
Position Purpose: The Spa Supervisor will under the direction of the General Manager, maintain the quality and exceptional guest experience of the property Spa Facilities. The Spa Supervisor is an essential support to Heritage Hotels & Resorts in creating unforgettable experiences for guests.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Spa Salon staff at designated property on shift
Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Work under direction of the General Manager.
- Maintain positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers, and guests.
- Communicate regularly with all spa staff on property regarding job assignments and required timeframe for teams for workflow.
- Perform interview, hire, disciplinary, and termination actions when necessary for staff.
- Establish and supervise system of controls to ensure that maximum standards of service are maintained.
- Assign, train and direct staff to carry out the basic program as set up and design such to give the maximum efficiency in performance.
- Follow all safety and health regulations including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocol policies.
- Maintain spa rooms and public areas in a clean, comfortable and saleable condition, including front of house areas.
- Review occupancy levels and staff labor accordingly.
- Supervise inventory system for supplies, equipment, and merchandise. When needed establish reorder levels and keep records.
- Review linen inventory and oversee laundry operations.
- Coordinate supplies and equipment through Accounting Department.
- Oversee / Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties.

Requirements:- Must be a passionate people person, as this job is highly interactive and requires superb customer service skills.
- Friendly and warm demeanor, excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask while maintaining poise.
- Competent with computer technology to easily learn reservation management system, the point of sale system to process payments, and Microsoft Office Suite for basic document manipulation and printing.
- Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
- Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30 pounds frequently.
- 2-3 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; spa or hospitality supervisory experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
