Heritage Construction Materials Internship Program provides hands-on, paid experiences in a corporate function. Interns can expect to network with other students and professionals, gain useful skills, receive mentoring, and make their own contributions to the organization. Additionally, interns can participate in our weekly hosted events focused on professional development, team building, and community service. Heritage Construction Materials (HC M) is currently seeking a summer intern to assist our Marketing and Communications department in supporting the company’s Environment, Health and Safety campaign initiatives.

Essential Functions
- One HC M Story Gathering: Research content, visit company and job sites, conduct interviews and write compelling web stories and social posts
- Support HC M Shared Strategies: Help support internal and external communications and awareness campaigns for HC M family companies’ Environment, Health and Safety programs and initiatives
- ScreenCloud: Manage company-wide internal digital communications via ScreenCloud platform
- Collaboration: Work with the marketing and communications teams to align content with overall brand voice, strategy and campaigns
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Writing Skills: Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Communication Skills: Must be able to professionally communicate with all levels of company personnel, including senior management
- Creativity: Ability to generate creative ideas and think outside the box
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
