QAQC Technician
As a QAQC Technician (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) you will be responsible for performing functions to complete all fingerprint and sales sample analysis according to EPA, RCRA and waste analysis plan-approved methods in the laboratory. This role operates instrumentation independently and calculates, runs, prepares and reports analytical data.

This position works with the Plant Manager, AC and/or Approvals to ensure proper testing of product code analysis is completed.

Essential Functions & Requirements:

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
• Prepares, composites and logs samples, per the Waste Analysis Plan
• Performs required fingerprint and pre-approval sample analysis, per the Waste Analysis Plan and reports according to supervisor
• Completes bench analysis for in-house processing
• Prepares and checks calibration curves for all analytical instrumentation
• Monitors lab instrumentation for malfunction or incompatibility with samples
• Monitors lab equipment and chemical supply inventory and places purchase requests with supervisor
• Maintains proper logs based on Company policies and procedures
• Coordinates the retention and disposal of lab samples and waste per Company policy
• Performs housekeeping duties per Company policy
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (required); specialization in chemistry (preferred)

Experience:

• In lieu of degree, 2 years of documented laboratory work experience (required)

Competencies:

• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Solid mathematical and computer skills and the ability to utilize required laboratory equipment
• Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
