Job Description
Heritage Family Law is seeking a highly energetic, motivated attorney who wants to improve their work life balance. We are a family law firm handling families' and children's needs. The perfect candidate will be self-motivated, self-directed and will put their client's needs first. The firm provides an excellent paralegal team, as well maintaining a full client caseload for you. Immediate court appearances both virtually and in person. We have our main location in Vancouver and a satellite office in Longview. Expansion opportunities available potentially in Ridgefield/La Center area.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
- Representing clients in court and negotiations, predominately in Clark and Cowlitz Counties
- Supporting the firm with 4 other attorneys and staff on all legal cases
- Direct and work with experienced paralegal team to maintain files in compliance with firm templates
- Cover cases for other attorneys, as needed
- Ability to understand and aid people during some of the worst times of their lives
Requirements:
- Active bar membership in Washington State (in process of obtaining)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to be self-motivated in a great team environment
