The Service Desk Technician I provides first point of contact for all end user technical issues and staffs the help desk as first line support. Performs diagnostic testing on pc's and printers to determine the source of problems and makes necessary repairs. Keeps detailed and accurate records of all work performed.
This position will be exposed to the following :
- Assist users with inquiries in a timely manner and keep user notified of the progress.
- Maintain appropriate logs of all system errors and related issues.
- Monitor help desk and phones for new issues.
- Escalate issues to 2nd tier support as needed.
- Assists other IT Department personnel as needed.
