As we continue to expand, we are searching for a Service Desk Technician III to join our amazing team!
The Service Desk Technician III provides advanced technical assistance supporting end-users for system, software and hardware issues; and is first backup for Service Desk Technician's. Troubleshoots complex issues on systems and network to determine source of problems and makes necessary repairs. Assists in the maintenance of servers, backups, and network equipment as well as assist in the preventative maintenance. This role requires a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and the ability to mentor junior technicians.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Ensures hardware and network support is provided to internal staff in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Mentors the Service Desk staff.
- Assist in providing daily maintenance and administration of network-based systems (routers, firewalls, switches, and server infrastructure).
- Provides daily maintenance and administration of telecommunications and VOIP infrastructure.
- Assist in maintaining workstation, server patch management programs, and daily network-based backups.
- Assist in maintaining appropriate logs of all software license agreements, system errors, and IT related equipment.
- Assists in overall troubleshooting and performance management of network and data systems.
- Coordinates with users to ensure timely and accurate hardware and software installation and upgrades.
