About the role:
This position is grant funded for a period of 2 years
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will utilize BI to track Heritage Health’s business performance. The Senior BI Analyst will assist senior management in making tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports. They are responsible for preparing all reporting packages, creating information dashboards, and collaborating with other departments on organizational initiatives.
Requirements
The Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with business intelligence frameworks and developing Power BI Dashboards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare operations preferred and at least 2 years of experience with BI tools required.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Database Management, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
Your Essential Duties:
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of monthly financial and operational dashboards.
- Provide support with requests related to internal and external audits and regulatory reviews.
- Provide high assurance related to the quality of data presented internally and externally of the organization.
- Provides data securely, with regulatory compliance, in the format and the timeframe needed.
- Devises and implements efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.
- Works with the business lines, risk, and the analytics team to define strategic directions and ensure data strategies and capabilities align with and support the strategic direction of the business lines.
- Works with business lines to identify data requirements, implement data strategies, develop conceptual/logical/physical data models, and design and build data flows.
- Oversees and governs the expansion of existing data analytics.
- Documents data analytic processes and documentation for stakeholders, management, and executive teams.
- Optimizes and automates core operational inputs, such as recurring reporting across a diverse set of functions.
- Responsible for periodic business review data set, capturing end-to-end insights across the entire program lifecycle.
- Establishes expertise in data analytics, extraction, and program performance and measurement.
- Responds to escalated to complex or major incidents related to data analytics.
- Collaborative troubleshooting or needs assessment with other teams.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Your Success Factors:
- Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution.
- Proficient utilizing Office 365, SharePoint, and Power BI
- Working knowledge of Business Objects, SQL, Database, or other reporting tools.
- Experience with data mining, reporting and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Salary : $78,844 - $114,897
