Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or Aloha POS system.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Proficiency in cash handling and retail math skills is required for accurate transaction processing.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
