Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel by performing regular maintenance tasks, repairs, and preventive maintenance on various systems and equipment. You’ll work closely with a team of dedicated and caring individuals who always have each other’s backs, making sure our hotel stays in top shape for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with equipment or hotel infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and prevent issues from occurring.
- Ensure all maintenance work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Work collaboratively with the hotel management and staff to create a positive and effective work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and any ongoing issues.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong work ethic with a reliable and consistent approach to tasks.
- Ability to maintain a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor with both guests and fellow team members.
- Solid knowledge of maintenance procedures, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous hotel or facility maintenance experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be flexible, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
