At four locations across the Florida Panhandle (Mary Esther, Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, and Panama City Beach), you’ll work with cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Details:

• 1 night on-call per week
• 1 weekend per month on-call

LOCKSMITH:

$18-$30 hourly DOE

JOB DESCRIPTION: Locksmiths perform work including installing and repairing all types of commercial and residential lock hardware, re-keying and master keying of lock cylinders of all kinds, automotive key making including programming transponder keys and remotes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Installing and repairing both residential and commercial hardware, re-keying and master keying locks, cutting and identifying keys, installing and replacing door control hardware, making entry to locked areas through picking or other means.

LOCKSMITH APPRENTICE:

$15-$18 Hourly DOE

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Locksmith Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced locksmiths, learning hands-on skills in the locksmithing trade. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lock installations, repairs, key cutting, and safe services. We provide in-depth training and mentorship to help you gain the skills necessary to become a certified locksmith. This is a great opportunity to get into a stable, rewarding trade that provides long-term career potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist experienced locksmiths with installing, repairing, and rekeying locks for residential, commercial, and automotive clients.

- Learn to cut and duplicate keys, including specialty keys for high-security locks and safes.

- Help with troubleshooting and resolving lock and key issues for customers.

- Assist with installing, servicing, and repairing safes.

- Provide on-site customer service, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are kept in safe working condition.

- Assist with inventory management.

- Participate in on-the-job training and certification programs to become a locksmith.

- Assist with emergency lockout services and other urgent customer needs as required.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in working with tools.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems.

- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry equipment.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Previous experience in a hands-on trade or related field is a plus, but not required.
