Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent, with ability to type, use computer and have basic knowledge of counting change.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English language in a legible and understandable manner.
- Must be able to deal with frequent interruptions while maintaining a positive and productive attitude.
- Physically, mentally and emotionally healthy, having a good moral character and will pass this facilities medical examination, consistent with the job description. Maintains good grooming and appearances within this facilities dress code policy.
- Must have an interest in the well-being of residents and be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and coworkers.
- Will maintain confidentiality of personal records of residents.
- Will have knowledge of facility policies and procedures for safety and disaster preparedness, residents’ rights, and universal precaution. Will participate in the educational/training in-service programs provided by the facility.
- Positive and mature attitude with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsible to: Administrator at Heritage Pointe Huntington

Duties:
- Greet visitors, prospective candidates and other visitors of the facility in a warm and pleasant manner.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors and government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Answers incoming calls on a multi-line system both internally and externally, in a warm, pleasant and professional manner as well as directs caller to the appropriate associate.
- When speaking on the phone regarding resident information, assure confidentiality at all times, being careful to be aware of who is standing near the desk and may overhear conversation.
- Provides callers with information such as facility address, directions to facility location, facility fax number, website and other related information.
- Coordinates pick up of deliveries from mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
- Receives mail daily and assures timely and appropriate disbursement including forwarding of resident mail as instructed by family or post office.
- Deliver mail, packages, etc., and visits the office supply room at predetermined times to allow front desk coverage
- Perform cash transactions related to petty cash and resident trust.
- Utilize Canva for facility postings.
- Ability to conduct and post resident trust transactions and file transaction receipts as needed.
- Conduct sale of guest meals and special event guest meals.
- Coordinate and order office supplies. Clean and maintain office supply room as needed.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, folding of billing and resident trust statements, assembling of marketing packets.
- Verify and assemble new hire packets when needed.
- Supervise and schedule evening and weekend front desk coverage.
- Liaison between residents and support staff such as maintenance, admissions, nursing, etc.
