Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Counselor to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address patients' needs and goals.
- Provide crisis intervention services to clients in immediate distress.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' mental health conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
- Utilize art therapy techniques as a therapeutic tool for self-expression and healing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within outpatient clinic settings to enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Support patients with chronic pain through specialized counseling techniques.
- Advocate for clients with disabilities, ensuring they receive appropriate resources and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Counselor or Therapist.
- Experience in outpatient settings, particularly with individual and group counseling.
- Knowledge of art therapy practices is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team environment.
- Compassionate approach towards working with diverse populations, including individuals with chronic pain and disabilities.
