Office Location : HVMG Endocrinology - both Center and Sewickley office, as needed.Work Hours : Daylight hours, primarily 3 days a weekThe Diabetes Nurse Educator provides diabetes self-management education and other related wellness education within Heritage Valley Health System. Serve as consultant to Heritage Valley Multispecialty Group, Inc. and other fellow health care professionals, in the delivery of diabetes care and education.RequiredBSN graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Current Pennsylvania RN license in good standing. Current certification as a diabetes educator by the National Certification Board of Diabetes Educators.PreferredFive years recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
