Job Summary
Role is based in Romeoville.
Utilize a software-based solution to prepare a daily routing solution for upwards of 50 delivery vehicles, for next day delivery. Provide a cost-effective delivery solution maximizing driver utilization and customer service, while maintaining company directed productivity metrics and expectations. Maintain the software database, as needed, and monitor the delivery technology that is available for improvement opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize a software-based solution to prepare daily routing for upwards of 50 delivery vehicles in Illinois.
- Daily maintenance of the routing software database to ensure key elements are current and accurate at all times.
- Frequent communication with sales and operations management to ensure customer service and operational goals are being achieved.
- Performs administrative tasks containing, but not limited to, printing invoices, running reports, preparing delivery documents, voice mails, email communication and special request information.
- Process driver feedback regarding the daily routes to continually improve the routing and delivery performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Preferably one year transportation experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Routing experience preferred.
- The employee will occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
The salary generally starts at 59,800 and ends at 85,400. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills and experience. This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with Illinois' state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. We anticipate accepting applications through March 06, 2025.
